Week 66

This Saturday was a busy day with us and subcontractors working on the homes.  The subcontractor was out working on wrapping the Debbie's house for stucco. Another subcontractor was out doing the drywall.  Facio let us know that on Sunday we would be getting a key to our house.  He then told us what we were working on.  We continue with the front porch, siding, and painting.  In the afternoon, those of us who are getting laminate floors chose which one we wanted.  The one we chose was a more of a medium oak color with the grain of the wood being red.

Garage doors were installed on lot 8,7, and 6.  This is lot 8.

Prayer Request:
1) wisdom for Facio on how to get these house completed.
2) strength and endurance.  We are all exhausted.
3) Health.  We are at the start of flu season.  We need everyone working on the house every weekend.

I am feeling overwhelmed by all that I need to get done this week on the house.  We need to prepare and paint the interior of our home, finish painting the eaves (one gable end left), finish roofing the two gable ends of the garage and add flashing, and install the locks on our home. It is so easy to get start to worry and get anxious about how we will get all these things done, plus our other responsibilities. Deep breath, pray, and trust God.

Philippians 4:4-9

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is ear. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
