Week 61

This week was a busy week at the house sight.  The sub contractors were out continuing with electrical, HVAC (heating and air conditioning), stucco, and insulation.  The first three houses are insulated and stucco work started.  The dry wall should be started this week.  All but three house are done with roofing after this weekend.  John and I put a lot of hours in this week.  We roofed our home with the help of many friends (thank you) and did some detail work on our front porch.  John also painted our exterior doors (gray/ green). This weekend we worked on painting eaves, roofing, and do trim work on porches and house.  Here is the photos for the week.

This was a hard week.  We are seeing a lot of progress on our homes.  It is exciting to see  how many people come out to help us.  We are so blessed.

Please pray for the following:

1) Wisdom for Facio on how to instruct and lead our group
2) subs come out and get their work complete
3) Health, endurance, and safety
4) Praise God for all the help we have gotten

I am ending the day with paint all over me.  I am tired and looking forward to resting this week.  John took two weeks off from work.  This past week we spent everyday out at the house working.   It took me all week with the help of friends to roof our home.  .  My Dad came out on Tuesday and helped John do the corbels or "Y"'s on our home.  Praise God! Without everyone helping us we would not be where we are at today.  Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us. God has been so faithful to us this past year.  Every time I get frustrated about how long everything is taking or needing help, He has been faithful to remind me of His sovereignty, provide help, and time away.  This week we are resting and spending time with the kids.

Psalm 143

Prayer for Deliverance and Guidance.

A Psalm of David.

143 Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
Answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness!
And do not enter into judgment with Your servant,
For in Your sight no man living is righteous.
For the enemy has persecuted my soul;
He has crushed my life to the ground;
He has made me dwell in dark places, like those who have long been dead.
Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me;
My heart is appalled within me.
I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your doings;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
I stretch out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You, as a parched land. Selah.
Answer me quickly, O Lord, my spirit fails;
Do not hide Your face from me,
Or I will become like those who go down to the pit.
Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning;
For I trust in You;
Teach me the way in which I should walk;
For to You I lift up my soul.
Deliver me, O Lord, from my enemies;
I take refuge in You.
10 Teach me to do Your will,
For You are my God;
Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
11 For the sake of Your name, O Lord, revive me.
In Your righteousness bring my soul out of trouble.
12 And in Your lovingkindness, cut off my enemies
And destroy all those who afflict my soul,
For I am Your servant.
