Work Week 31

It was a cold Saturday morning.  We started out with our safety meeting on pinch points.  Facio then discussed the upcoming Frame It Up contest.  He also introduced Toby to us.  Then it was work time.  The framing crews got to work on Lupe's house (lot 8) and Deena's house (lot 9).  The plating crew got to work on Steve and Maria's house (lot 11).  The crew that marks out the framing got to work on Leticia's house (lot 14).  We had extra volunteers this weekend.  Some were friends and others where from the local colleges.  Thank you so much for your help.

By the end of the weekend we had all the houses plated and marked for framing.  Deena's and Lupe's house were framed.  YEAH!!!  This was a good weekend.

I felt like we got a lot accomplished this weekend. I am looking forward to this week.  We are getting the tree branch that hangs over our house trimmed and our going to start framing our house.  This is such an answer of prayer.  We did not know if we would have the money to pay for the tree trimming before the house was built.  God was so good to provide the exact amount of money we needed for the tree trimming.

Philippians 4:4-9

New American Standard Bible (NASB)
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. 9 The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Pray Requests:

1) Safety this weekend and next Monday.  We are having a lot of people out on Monday for the contest.
2) That we would learn our new tasks quickly and be able to do it accurately.
3) Health.  A few people were feeling sick this weekend.
